Having earned his B.A. degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Buffalo in 2005, Dr. Moshier went on to receive his DMD degree in 2009 from Tufts School of Dental Medicine.
Initially, Dr. Moshier spent three years in Northern Virginia as an associate where he had the unique opportunity to experience numerous technologies at the forefront of dentistry. Having developed his skills in such fields as laser and sedation dentistry, Dr. Moshier enjoys all aspects of dentistry bringing knowledge of the latest in dental technique and materials.
Like many other careers dentistry is not a static field, therefore Dr. Moshier enjoys regularly attending seminars and courses for continuous improvement in new methods and technologies. He currently is an active member of the Maine Dental Association(MDA), American Dental Association(ADA), and the Merrymeeting Bay Dental Society. Prior to arriving in Maine Dr. Moshier received certification in DOCS Sedation Dentistry and has regularly attended the Spear Education Center in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Moshier is passionate about the caliber of dentistry that the Spear Education Center represents and his goal is to complete the Spear Learning Continuum.
Together with his wife, Dr. Moshier is excited to call Brunswick home and looks forward to all the activities that Maine has to offer, including raising a family. He is an avid sports fan, having played football and lacrosse for many years as well as coached lacrosse for a 9 and under youth league.
Dr. David Taft grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts and is a graduate of Lexington High School. He received a BS in Mathematics and Biology from Tufts University, and his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Taft spent two years on Active Duty with the Navy assigned to Naval Air Station, Brunswick. Upon completion of his active duty he opened his private practice in Brunswick in 1976. He continued to be affiliated with the Navy Reserve and retired in 2004 with the rank of Captain. He has been President of the Merrymeeting Bay Dental Society and President of the Maine Academy of General Dentistry. He has been awarded a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr Taft has been actively involved over the years with First Parish Church, with Boy Scouts, and Masons. He has two children; Katie who is married and living in Westport, Connecticut with her husband and their two boys, and David who is married and serving in the Navy in San Diego, California. Dr. Taft and his wife Anne live in Harpswell where they spend much of their time in the summer sailing the coast of Maine.
Katina is a native Mainer, a graduate of Mt. Ararat High School, and has earned an has an Associate's degree in Applied Sciences for Veterinary Technology at Vermont Technical College. Has been Dr. Taft's assistant since July 2001. She Was certified as a dental radiographer in 2005. Lives in Topsham with her Husband Sigurbjorn and has two children.
